Training and Clinics
Justin is an experienced trainer, both of horses and riders. If you are looking to improve your riding skills, he can work with you in the ring and on the trail. If your own horse needs some work, Justin's "horse whisperer" training techniques may be just what you're looking for. He can do whatever groundwork is necessary, and then work with you on horseback. Don't let your horse's behavior problems- either with people or other horses- get in the way of your riding enjoyment.
Training sessions can be here at the ranch, or at your facility. When possible, we recommend the latter, since both you and your horse will probably be most comfortable there.
All types of training are very comprehensive, but don't be scared away by all the work! These sessions are designed to be a lot of fun.
Pricing
- Intensive training of a young horse: $750, includes boarding, usually requires about 30 days
- Groundwork: $45 per hour
- Rider training in the ring: $45 per hour
- Horse and rider training on the trail: $65 per hour (add $10 per additional person)
- Horsemanship clinic: $1,000 for one, $500 each additional person in a group. One-on-one training clinic, three days and three nights, all-inclusive (training, meals, lodging). Training will include tack and equipment, groundwork, saddle work in and out of the ring, terrain work (creeks, rocks, hills, trees, etc).
